An overview of the Splash Festival

The SPLASH Festival is a family orientated festival with a core feature being Water Sport and Family Entertainment. The festival is an annual event having been in existence for 18 years and is traditionally held over the Easter Weekend. This year it will fall on the long weekend of Good Friday 2nd April until Family Day on Monday 5th April.

The SPLASH Festival program is designed to appeal to all residents of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropol, as well as visitors to the city, and aims to involve all the various communities and cultures within the area. An ideal opportunity to show case our city and provide exciting entertainment and activities for visitors & tourists, this Festival has the ability to appeal to all tastes and offer new opportunities to city dwellers and entrepreneurs to get involved.

The SPLASH Festival is an enormous draw card in attracting visitors to our shores and creates new Tourism opportunities. Many visitors who have experienced previous SPLASH Festivals return annually to enjoy the vibe and festivities offered over the Easter Weekend.
